Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior for a well‑established accountancy practice near Lewes. You will assist in planning and executing audits and prepare financial statements in line with regulations.

You will support senior team members, review financial documents, maintain clear client communication, and help deliver audit reports on time. Permanent role with £30,000–£40,000 salary and benefits on request.

Qualifications

• Experience in audit or related accounting role.
• Professional qualification in progress (ACA/ACCA).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Confidence with accounting software and tools.
• Clear and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audits for a range of clients.
• Prepare financial statements in line with current regulations.
• Review and analyse financial documents to ensure accuracy.
• Support senior team members with complex audit tasks.
