Harvey John is recruiting for an Audit Semi Senior to join a leading UK chartered accountancy firm in Lewes, East Sussex. The role focuses on audit with some accounts and tax work, offering support toward professional qualification and a friendly, flexible environment.

The successful candidate will have audit experience in a UK firm, be studying ACA/ACCA, and be confident in communicating with colleagues and clients while working on-site with a varied portfolio of corporate and not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Already have audit experience gained in a UK accountancy firm.
• Studying towards ACA/ACCA.
• A confident communicator, comfortable dealing with colleagues and clients.
• An inquisitive and analytical mind set.
• Live within commuting distance of Lewes, East Sussex.

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of audit assignments and support more senior team members on site.
• Liaise with clients to request information and resolve queries.
• Some responsibility for accounts and tax work, with support to complete professional qualifications.
