Job summary

Harvey John is recruiting for an Audit Semi Senior to join a leading UK chartered accountancy firm in Lewes, East Sussex. The role focuses on audit with some accounts and tax work, offering support toward professional qualification and a friendly, flexible environment.

The successful candidate will have audit experience in a UK firm, be studying ACA/ACCA, and be confident in communicating with colleagues and clients while working on-site with a varied portfolio of corporate and not-for-profit

• Studying towards ACA/ACCA.
• A confident communicator, comfortable dealing with colleagues and clients.

• Live within commuting distance of Lewes, East Sussex.

Job description

We are working with a leading, multi sited chartered accountancy firm to hire an Audit Semi Senior to join the team in Lewes, East Sussex.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has gained a year or two of audit experience and is now looking to develop their skills and progress their career in audit. You will be joining a successful and growing audit team who work with varied portfolio of corporate and not for profit clients. You will work on a range of assignments, support more senior team members on site, and liaise with clients to request information and resolve queries.

The role is mainly focused on audit, but with some responsibility for accounts and tax work, and you will also be supported in completing you professional accountancy qualification.
