Job summary

Austin Rose Associates Limited in Manchester is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to support end-to-end audit engagements and mentor junior staff. You will engage with owner-managed businesses, international groups, and SMEs, applying UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS standards while progressing toward ACA/ACCA qualification.

You will gain hands-on audit exposure, direct client contact, and structured study support, with flexible hours and a clear path to advancement within a Top 20 regional firm.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA with hands-on audit exposure.
• Experience supporting on-site and remote audit procedures across diverse client portfolios.
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end execution of audit engagements in line with firm standards.
• Assist planning and execution of on-site and remote audits for varied client portfolios.
• Contribute to audit findings and reports, highlighting risks and control weaknesses.
• Communicate effectively with client finance teams to support efficient audit delivery.
• Collaborate with Tax and Corporate Finance to deliver integrated advisory solutions.
