Audit Semi Senior

Are you a part-qualified accountant with a passion for audit and a flair for client service?

A well-established and growing accountancy firm in Witham is looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join their team and support a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid grounding in both audit and accounts to develop their career in a supportive and client-focused environment.

Working as part of a friendly and knowledgeable team, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across the full audit cycle, while also contributing to accounts preparation and financial reporting.

Role responsibilities

• Assisting in the planning and delivery of audit assignments for companies and not-for-profit organisations
• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Supporting audit fieldwork including testing, documentation and client liaison
• Drafting corporation tax computations and assisting with tax compliance tasks
• Building relationships with clients and providing excellent day-to-day support
• Collaborating with colleagues across the audit and accounts teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Keeping up to date with technical knowledge and industry developments
