Michael Page is helping an established North West accountancy practice strengthen its audit team with an Audit Semi Senior role in Preston. The role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio, on-the-job development and clear progression toward senior levels.

You will assist with planning and completing audits, perform fieldwork both on-site and remotely, and prepare working papers while liaising with clients and other seniors. Flexible, hybrid arrangements are available.

Qualifikationen

• Audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA, or qualified by experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Keen to develop and progress within a growing audit team.

Description

• Assisting with the planning and completion of audit assignments


• Carrying out fieldwork both on-site and remotely


• Preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation


• Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers on a wide range of client engagements


• Liaising directly with clients and building professional relationships


• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts where required

Profile

• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice


• Studying towards ACA or ACCA, or qualified by experience


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
