Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an Audit Semi Senior to join a respected accountancy practice in the Sheffield area. The role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to progress towards senior level.

You will assist in planning and completing audits, conduct fieldwork on-site and remotely, and prepare working papers while collaborating with audit teams. ACA/ACCA study support is available, with flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Audit experience within practice.
• Studying towards ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Keen to develop and progress within a growing audit team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and completion of audit assignments.

Description

• Assisting with the planning and completion of audit assignments
• Carrying out fieldwork both on-site and remotely
• Preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation
• Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers on a wide range of client engagements
• Liaising directly with clients and building professional relationships
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts where required

Profile

• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA, or qualified by experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Keen to develop and progress within a growing audit team
