Description

    Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients across various industriesDrive business development initiatives and identify new client opportunitiesDevelop and execute strategic plans for the audit practice's growthMaintain and strengthen existing client relationships through exceptional service deliveryProvide technical leadership and quality assurance on complex audit engagementsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm methodologiesManage engagement economics including billing, collections, and profitabilityMentor, coach, and develop audit staff and managersContribute to the firm's thought leadership through publications and speaking engagementsRepresent the firm at industry events and in the broader business communityCollaborate with partners across service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clientsLead risk management processes and maintain audit quality standardsStay current with evolving accounting standards and regulatory changesParticipate in firm management and governance as requiredDrive innovation in audit methodologies and digital audit capabilitiesManage and resolve complex technical accounting and auditing issuesProvide strategic insights and value-added recommendations to clientsBuild and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organisationsContribute to the firm's culture and valuesDemonstrate ethical leadership and professional integrity in all interactionsManage partner-level relationships with regulatory bodies and standard setters

Profile

A successful Audit Partner should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in contributing to business strategy from a financial perspective.
  • Proven track record in business growth and development - this is key.
