Meraki Talent are delighted to be working alongside a leading accounting firm on the role of Audit Partner. This role will focus on a generalist portfolio covering several sectors of white-collar and blue-collar business.

The Company

Our client is a well-known firm within the UK Accountancy market with a proud history and reputation built over many years. They have experienced several successful mergers and acquisitions, growing to become a true market leader in the field of Accountancy.

The Role

The Audit Partner will oversee the full Audit function, managing a large portfolio of clients across various sectors. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of client engagement, driving revenue growth, and maximizing cross-selling opportunities.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, providing advice to clients and senior management on audit matters. You will collaborate with your team to suggest ideas for increasing firm exposure through networking and professional engagements, leveraging contacts to upsell services offered by other departments within the firm.

  • Strategic and financial responsibility for managing the audit function
  • Ensuring high-quality audit compliance
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of audit clients
  • Overseeing department and business structure, optimizing employee performance and service delivery
  • Growing the audit portfolio through existing networks and business development

Salary

The Audit Partner position offers a salaried or equity option. Those interested in a salaried role initially, with potential for equity partnership later, are encouraged to apply. Equity stake from day one is available on a case-by-case basis. The firm offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Experience

We welcome applications from individuals currently at Partner level or Directors with 5+ years of experience. A generalist audit background is desirable, but specialists are also encouraged to apply. Candidates should have current RI status or be willing to obtain it, along with a passion for business development and networking.

  • CA-qualified accountant
  • Responsible Individual status is highly preferable
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus
  • Experience leading end-to-end audit processes
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Commercial mindset
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
