Firms range from leading large practices to independent Scottish firms, offering diverse client portfolios across sectors such as owner-managed businesses, charities, financial services, public sector, and corporate groups.
We are hiring across multiple levels:
Audit Senior
Audit Assistant Manager
Audit Manager
Audit Senior Manager
Audit Director/Partner
Depending on level, responsibilities may include:
Leading audits from planning through to completion
Managing client relationships and liaising with stakeholders
Reviewing and supervising the work of junior staff
Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS
Contributing to internal audit methodology and technical development
Business development and tendering for new audit clients (Manager+)
Coaching and developing junior members of the team
Managing fee targets, budgets, and risk processes
Partnering with directors and partners to shape strategy (Director+ level)
Qualified accountant (CA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) or minimum 18-24 months experience
Recent or current experience within audit in an accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to manage and develop team members
For Senior Manager and Director roles: experience with business development, complex audits, or niche sectors is advantageous
