About the role

As a graduate trainee, here is what to expect during the three-year training contract:

Year 1:

• Master the art of auditing: Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
• Financial statements: Develop an in-depth understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
• Work side by side with clients: Be immersed in the business world by working directly with a variety of diverse companies and understanding their operations and challenges.
• Build relationships: Connect with key stakeholders both with clients and internally across teams; gather information and foster professional relationships.

Years 2 and 3:

As you progress, you will take on increasingly complex audits (e.g., revenue recognition, valuation, risk assessments), lead audit engagements, and mentor junior team members. You join as a permanent employee, and the three years mark the beginning of your career with Forvis Mazars.
