Job summary

Cortea, a European audit‑tech company, is looking for an experienced auditor to translate audit methodology into structured logic and to drive AI-assisted workflows. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to shape how audit logic is built, tested, and shipped, reporting to the Co‑Founder.

No programming background is required, but rigorous process thinking is essential. Based in London with regular Berlin collaboration, the role emphasizes independence, ethics, and building

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of financial audit experience, including time at audit manager level.
• Native in English; German is a plus.
• Strong interest in audit methodology and turning standards into executable logic.

Responsibilities

• Translate ISA UK and international standards into structured, executable logic.
• Write, test, and refine prompts and decision logic for AI audit workflows.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to shape audit tools and prompts.
• Ensure audit documentation aligns with ISA UK 230 and related requirements.
• Travel to Berlin regularly to work with the team and co-founders.
