As an Audit Manager, you will execute audit assignments from planning to reporting, follow-up audit recommendations, perform continuous audit monitoring, and participate in the internal audit yearly risk assessment. Your duties will involve regular interactions with various stakeholders within the company, and all duties shall be carried out with integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality, in line with the professional standards defined by the Institute of Internal Audit.

Your key responsibilities as Audit Manager for Technology and Cybercrime risks will include:

  1. Performing Audit Assignments: completing the planning, execution, and reporting of audit assignments as the lead or as a team member.
  2. Following-up audit recommendations: tracking the progress of audit recommendations until completion, reviewing evidence, and documenting validation rigorously.
  3. Stakeholders Management: interacting professionally and ethically with stakeholders during audits, recommendations follow-up, continuous audit monitoring, and risk assessments, ensuring confidentiality and thorough documentation.
  4. Departmental projects and tasks: supporting the organisation and operation of the department under IA management.
  5. Coaching and supervising: providing guidance, training, and supervision to less experienced staff and co-sourcing resources.
  6. Quality assurance: performing all tasks to high standards and cooperating with quality assurance processes.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years leading Technology internal audit assignments in financial services.
  • Desirable: Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) qualification; other professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA, ACAMS, CFE) are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of internal audit processes, professional standards, Technology Risk Management, and UK Financial Services regulation(s).
  • Ability to work independently, organize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, analytical, and synthesis skills.
  • Efficient time management skills for prioritizing tasks within deadlines and budgets.
  • Leadership qualities, team spirit, coaching skills, and ability to coordinate diverse audit teams.
  • Understanding and adherence to the company's Code of Ethics and conduct rules.
  • Integrity, diligence, confidentiality, and compliance with professional standards and codes of ethics, including annual signing of the IIA Declaration.

  • London (5 days per week in the office)
  • Travel to other locations may be required occasionally.
