Job summary

Pro Talent is working with a Top 10 Accountancy Practice in central London, recruiting for an experienced Auditor to join their Audits team.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, identify opportunities, and help develop new business by attending network events. You will oversee all stages of audits, advise the partner on audit opinions, and anticipate accounting issues using IFRS/FRS102 knowledge.

The role requires ACCA/ACA or equivalent, with 2–3 years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Detailed working knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102 is preferred.
• Proven skills in managing a client portfolio and substantial external auditing experience with 2–3 years post- qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage your time to properly service your client portfolio and complete work promptly.
• Identify business opportunities from existing clients and support initiatives to develop new opportunities, including attending network events.
• Manage all stages of the audit and advise the partner on audit opinion.
• Anticipate significant accounting issues based on experience and knowledge, proactively recommending solutions.
• Advise clients on financial reporting issues with appropriate input from specialists.

• Chartered accountancy practice in the heart of the city.
• Clients ranging from large listed coroporates and SME's to individuals, theirfamilies and their businesses.
• Ranked in the top 10 Auditors in the UK.

The role:

• Efficiently managing your time to ensure your client portfolio is properly serviced and work is completed in a timely manner.
• Identifying business opportunities from existing clients and supporting initiatives to develop new business opportunities including attending and organising network events.
• Managing all stages of the audit and advising the partner on audit opinion.
• Anticipating significant accounting issues based on experience and knowledge of other companies; being proactive in recommending solutions to these issues.
• Advising clients on all financial reporting issues with reference to other specialists where necessary.

The successful candidate will require:

• ACCA or ACA, or equivalent, qualified.
• Detailed working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and FRS 102 preferred.
• Proven skills in managing a portfolio of clients; and substantial external commercial auditing experience with at least 2-3 years post qualification experience.
