Audit Manager - Mid Sized Practice, varied portfolio

Employer Location: London (Central), London (Greater) (GB) | Salary up to £70,000 + 33 days holiday and great benefits | Closing date: 28 May 2025

Job Details

About the Role:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, including corporate, international subsidiaries, owner-managed businesses, and not-for-profits.
  • Lead audit engagements, ensuring compliance with UK standards such as UK GAAP, IFRS, and UK auditing standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic advice.
  • Mentor and develop team members, conduct performance reviews, and contribute to internal training initiatives.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand client base and identify new advisory opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experienced in managing audits across multiple industries.
  • Qualified ACA or ACCA, with strong technical expertise.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring teams.
  • Confident in client interactions and building trusted relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with audit tools like CaseWare, CCH, Datasnipper, Float.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with groups and UK subsidiaries.
  • Interest in business development and mentoring.
Additional Details
  • Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum
  • Hours: 35 hours/week
  • Location: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home) in Fitzrovia, London
