• Ability to mentor junior staff and provide feedback.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion, meeting regulatory standards.
• Act as primary contact for client leadership and manage expectations.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing structured feedback.
• Manage project budgets, track progress, and billing.
• Ensure UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS compliance across engagements.
• Collaborate with Directors to align delivery with department goals.
• Build and maintain multi-sector client relationships and identify advisory opportunities.
• Oversee engagement workflow using audit tech platforms (CCH, Inflo).
• Conduct technical reviews of financial statements and audit files prior to Partner sign-off.
• Manage profitability, resources and engagement efficiency.
• Drive quality control and risk management across engagements.
