Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment seeks an experienced Audit Manager to join their Bolton team on a hybrid basis. You will lead audits from planning to completion, coordinate with clients and senior staff, and oversee junior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role requires ACCA or equivalent and 2-4 years post-qualification experience in audit practice, with up-to-date IFRS/FRS knowledge and strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACCA or equivalent and 2-4 years post-qualification experience.
• Proven audit and accounts experience with strong quality and regulatory awareness.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and control measures in audits.
• Skilled in managing client relationships and addressing needs.
• Experience leading junior staff and guiding teams on engagements.
• Up-to-date with accounting/auditing standards including IFRS/FRS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with CaseWare and CCH is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Act as primary client contact during engagements and maintain clear communication.
• Supervise junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Lead budgeting, monitor progress, and address variances for efficiency.
• Manage billing by tracking time and resources to keep engagements within budget.
• Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards throughout engagements.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and coordinate with directors.
• Perform administrative tasks to facilitate project flow.
