Job summary

Austin Rose is seeking an Audit Manager for a Top 20 firm in Liverpool. You will take ownership of client engagements, lead audit teams, and work with senior decision-makers to ensure high-quality outputs.

The role offers flexible hours within a supportive environment and opportunities to develop management experience, with exposure to a diverse client base and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with external audit experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements and supervising junior staff.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards, FRS and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit assignments from planning to completion, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Act as primary client contact, building relationships and resolving queries.
• Lead and supervise audit teams, reviewing work and mentoring juniors.
• Manage engagement budgets, resources, billing and recoverability.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards including FRS and IFRS.
• Collaborate with Senior Managers and Directors on technical matters.
