Job Title: Audit Manager or Senior Manager

Location: Weybridge

Package: £55,000-70,000 (depending on senior level), hybrid working, quarterly bonuses, and more

Working Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, core hours of 10am-4pm, rest to be made up

A medium sized, multi officed accountancy practice in Weybridge, are recruiting for an Audit Manager (or senior manager) to join their growing team. As the firm continue to experience growth, they are keen to add depth to their dedicated audit team. This is a great opportunity for an Audit Manager looking to take the next step, or to solidify themselves in a highly reputable practice

You will be playing a crucial role in managing and supporting junior team members, reviewing their work, assisting directors on portfolio management, liaising directly with clients, co-ordinating audits, and more. Paying up to £70k for senior managers, and £59k for managers, with some great other perks. You don't want to miss this role

Audit Manager Job Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Planning audits, assessing risks and determining appropriate audit procedures.
• Leading audit teams and overseeing the work of Seniors and trainees.
• Reviewing audit files and ensuring work is completed to a high professional standard.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and audit documentation.
• Identifying accounting and audit issues and providing appropriate solutions.
• Communicating directly with clients and developing strong, long-term relationships.
• Attending client meetings and presenting findings and recommendations where required.
• Monitoring budgets, deadlines and assignment profitability.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the audit team.
• Providing technical guidance on accounting and auditing matters.
• Assisting Partners and Directors with more complex assignments and ad-hoc projects.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
• Ensuring all assignments comply with relevant accounting, auditing and professional standards.

Audit Manager Job Requirements

• Must be ACCA or ACA qualified
• A minimum of 5 years practice experience
• Comfortable working in a 100% audit focused role
• Experience in team management, and portfolio management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

Audit Manager Salary & Benefits

• Salary depending on experience, up to £59,000 for Managers, and up to £70,000 for Senior Managers
• Hybrid working - should be pre-agreed (typically the same day every week), and client visits should be prioritised
• 20 days holiday (25 days for Senior Managers), plus bank holidays
