Job summary

Rob Emsley Specialist Accountancy Practice Recruitment is helping a growing firm strengthen its audit service line with the recruitment of an experienced Audit Manager. This role offers greater autonomy and responsibility within a supportive, technical team in the West of England.

You will lead audits from planning through to execution, liaise closely with clients and senior management, report your findings, and mentor junior staff to build a capable audit function.

Qualifications

• Must be fully qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience planning and executing external audits.
• Able to mentor junior staff and manage a team.
• Strong communication with clients and senior management.

Joining a very capable and friendly team, your duties will be broad ranging, from planning through to execution of external audit assignments for a varied client portfolio, liaising very closely with your clients and the senior management team, reporting on your findings and helping to develop and mentor junior staff members.

This role would suit an experienced Manager who is looking to take on a role offering even greater responsibilitywithina great teamenvironment. You will need to be fully qualified withvery strongtechnical accounting knowledge, and you will also need to be able todemonstrateexcellent team management skills.
