Audit Manager

A highly regarded, independent accountancy practice in Leamington Spa is seeking a proactive and driven Audit Manager to lead client relationships, manage audit teams, and help shape the growth of their audit division.

Role Responsibilities

As an Audit Manager, you’ll oversee a varied portfolio of audit assignments, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards. Your role will include:

• Managing end-to-end audit processes, from planning and budgeting through to sign-off
• Acting as the lead contact for clients, building lasting relationships and offering expert support
• Reviewing work prepared by audit seniors and junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Coaching and mentoring team members, supporting their development and progression
• Working alongside directors and partners on more complex client requirements and strategic planning
• Identifying opportunities for added value services and contributing to business development

Candidate Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification audit experience
• Background in managing audits for a wide range of clients, including FRS 102, group structures, and charities
• Experience in leading teams and nurturing talent within an accountancy practice
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
• Commercially minded with a focus on quality, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement
