Audit Manager Job Description

Are you an individual with drive, determination, and enthusiasm? Are you passionate about being a vital part of a successful Audit team?

A Top 40 practice is looking for an energetic individual who takes pride in their work and has forward-thinking visions. With a background in larger companies, you will manage your own caseload and have the opportunity to work with a split of 70% Audit Clients and 30% Non-Audit. You will work directly with partners and play an active role in developing the Audit team.

As an Audit Manager, you will:
  1. Audit a range of large clients, including groups and overseas subsidiaries.
  2. Plan, supervise, and review Audit and Accounts cases for partners.
  3. Act as the main point of contact with clients, providing excellent service.
  4. Assist staff with technical working problems.
  5. Develop Audit functions in Rickmansworth and support development in other offices.
  6. Monitor billing and actual costs against budgets, reporting variances to partners.
Requirements for an Audit Manager:
  1. ACA/ACCA qualified.
  2. 2-3 years post-qualification experience.
  3. Experience managing a team.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
