Audit Manager

A long-standing and well-respected accountancy practice in Bideford is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its growing team. Role Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients across sectors such as owner-managed businesses, charities, and SMEs
• Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance and high standards throughout
• Supervise and support audit teams, reviewing work and providing coaching and development
• Liaise directly with clients to deliver clear, practical advice and build long-term relationships
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit and accounting standards
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency
• Support senior management in developing junior staff and contributing to firm growth
