Audit Manager

Description

The role of Audit Manager is suitable for candidates with experience in a marketing agency finance team. The individual will have responsibility for supporting and conducting audits across a wide range of UK & European countries and clients, working closely with Senior Audit Managers, Audit Directors, and Client Directors. The Audit Manager will act as a trusted operator within the UK audit team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supporting and conducting audit programs in UK and other European countries for local and international clients.
  2. Review of framework agreements between client and agency for audit preparation.
  3. Selecting audit samples based on internal audit guidelines.
  4. Audit responsibilities for testing of client and agency invoices, agency fees, media plans, client approvals, payment analysis, and further testing.
  5. Documentation of audit analysis and audit findings.
  6. Reporting line to Senior Audit Managers and Audit Directors.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  1. Experience working in a Finance role in a marketing agency finance department (media, creative, or BTL).
  2. Graduate qualifications of Finance degree.
  3. Ideally ACCA or other certification (or progress to certification).
  4. Good English language skills; other languages beneficial.
  5. Very accurate, structured, and confidential way of working.
  6. Great interest in audit methodologies.
  7. Good Microsoft Excel/Word skills.
  8. Be a self-starter, an inquisitive team player.
  9. Readiness to travel (approximately 20%).
