Job summary

IPS Group is recruiting an Audit Manager for a growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Huddersfield.

You will manage client portfolios, deliver high-quality audits, support junior staff, and report to stakeholders. The role offers a salary of £50,000–£60,000 p/a with hybrid working and parking facilities.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Experience as Audit Manager/Assistant Manager in practice.
• Experience training junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality audit and assurance services, including preparing and reviewing audit plans.
• Identify opportunities to maximise client relationships and deliver added value where necessary.
• Delegate workflow, review work, and provide training to junior members of the Audit Team.
• Directly report to key stakeholders to update on audit findings.

As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for:

To be applicable for this Audit Manager position, ideally you will meet the following:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience working as an Audit Manager / Assistant Manager in Practice, feeling comfortable managing a portfolio of clients.
• Experience supporting and training junior team members.
