Due to expansion, they are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to help drive their success forward. Your new role As an Audit Manager, you will: Manage a portfolio of clients with fees of approximately £500,000 Be a trusted and reliable resource for clients and partners, maintaining control over deadlines and queries Oversee large, complex audits and problem-solve by providing solutions to partners Identify and manage firm-wide risks beyond audit risk, such as reputational and credit risks Collate data for inspections, reviews, and audit technical enquiries Monitor timesheet entries to ensure proper coding and accuracy Ensure audit teams adhere to budgets and time allocation Act as the primary client contact across all audit-related areas Respond promptly to client queries, maintaining a high level of service Participate in business development activities, including proposals, presentations, and networking What you'll need to succeed ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent) Experience managing teams and a client portfolio Strong familiarity with UK auditing, accounting standards and implementing audit methodologies Commercial awareness and the ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear, practical way Experience in both substantive and controls-based audits, group reporting, and cross-border groups Proficiency in accounting frameworks (GAAP, FRS) What you'll get in return A competitive benefit package, including: Pension, health, and life cover Hybrid working and flexible work options Extra holiday benefits Free parking and a convenient location near a mainline railway station Regular social activities, retail, and leisure discounts Strong support for professional development and career progression What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
