Package: £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 - 17:30

Audit Manager Job Overview
  • Manage the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
  • Ensure audits are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
  • Review and finalize audit files, financial statements, and reports, ensuring technical accuracy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of audit staff, including providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring high levels of service delivery.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide advisory support to clients on internal controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with partners and other departments (e.g., tax, corporate finance) to deliver holistic client solutions.
Audit Manager Job Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified. Qualified by experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 6 years accountancy practice experience
  • Must have experience in management, managing a portfolio and supervising juniors
  • Experienced in handling a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced using IRIS Accounts production, Sage Line 50, Xero, QuickBooks, and CCH is advantageous
Audit Manager Salary & Benefits
  • Salary dependant on experience, likely to range from £60,000 - £80,000
  • Increasing holiday allowance loyalty scheme, rising by one day a year up to 25 days
  • Training and professional development
  • Monday - Friday 37.5 hours. 9:00 - 17:30
  • Statutory pension (NEST) and sick pay
