Job description

Our client is seeking an Audit Manager to join their growing team in Glasgow. The office has seen significant growth in recent years, offering a diverse portfolio of clients and providing an exciting and inclusive environment to foster career development.

The Edinburgh office offers a full range of services, including accounting, audit and assurance, tax, corporate finance, and business advisory. The team works with clients on both personal and business affairs, covering all aspects of wealth generation, preservation, and succession.

The office is home to over 60 staff and 5 partners, and has recently moved to a modern, purpose-built space, within walking distance of the city centre and with excellent transport links.

Your role as an Audit Manager:

  • As an Audit Manager, you will manage a portfolio across various corporate audit sectors.
  • Managing and monitoring the progress of work and budgets.
  • Ensuring all work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Supervising and coaching qualified staff and trainees.
  • Liaising with the tax team.
  • Working on special assignments and projects as needed.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You will be CA/ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of FRS 102 is essential; IFRS experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in special assignments or technical projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Excel, Word, CCH Accounts Production, and CCH Audit Automation.
  • Strong leadership and training skills.
  • Experience within a UK accountancy practice and have full rights to work in the UK.
