The Opportunity

As Audit Manager, you'll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of audit assignments, building strong client relationships and ensuring work is delivered efficiently, profitably and to the highest standards.

You'll play a key role in leading and developing the wider audit team, providing guidance and support to junior members of staff while helping clients navigate complex financial matters and business challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing, planning and reviewing audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Building strong client relationships, understanding their businesses and identifying key risks and areas requiring attention.
• Overseeing resource allocation and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently and profitably.
• Reviewing audit planning documentation and ensuring teams have everything they need to deliver high-quality work.
• Monitoring team performance, utilisation and chargeable hours.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and contributing to wider firm initiatives.

About You

You will need

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards.

• A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive efficiencies.
