Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment client seeks an experienced auditor to join the audit and assurance team. You will manage a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring high quality work delivered to tight timelines.

You will plan audits, assess risks, and develop tailored audit programs, while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting budgets and billing targets.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Previous audit management experience.
• Client facing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

My client offers a comprehensive suite of financial services to their clients including Accountancy, Financial Services, Wills & Probate, Commercial Finance, Residential Mortgages and Corporate Finance.

You will be an important part of the audit and assurance team. Working closely with the directors and fieldwork teams, you will manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring a high quality audit is delivered to clients in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Purpose:

• Delivering high quality audit assignments to a timely and efficient manner to the directors.
• Ensure all audits comply with regulatory and professional standards.
• Working with the directors and audit senior, plan audits, assess risks, and develop audit programs tailored to each client.
• Owning client relationships, supporting existing clients and new clients, to provide excellent client care.
• Taking responsibility for managing budgets, billing and recoveries to deliver targets.
