Job description

About the Role

Our Audit team are on the growth train following the acquisition of CavanaghKelly! And we’re not slowing down. We’ve expanded our remit to Northern Ireland and are looking for an Audit Manager to lead a dynamic portfolio of clients and help shape the future of our audit offering.

If you have a passion for what you do, keen to get stuck in the mix and strive to be the best you, then we want to hear from you.

About the Day To Day

An Audit Manager needs to be curious, sceptical, and have a questioning mindset. You need to be adaptable and versatile, with the confidence and composure to engage and liaise with clients and always on hand to support more junior members of the team. As you know, this is no rigid, eyes-down and desk-bound role.

  • Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, delivering quality insights to clients
  • Managing and mentoring audit teams, developing junior staff while overseeing client relationships
  • Working with ambitious businesses, providing value beyond compliance

It’s hard work… and you love it. You thrive on the client‑facing aspect, you have ambition, taking pride and satisfaction of spotting and resolving issues at the heart of business activity.

The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further – from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.

About You

At Cooper Parry, we’re in it together. All we ask of our people is that they play all in. You’ll continuously strive to keep learning – whether you’re a trainee or a Partner – and you’ll be brave, stepping out of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges. Above all, be nice. A simple notion, but an irreplaceable part of what makes CP, CP.

As an Audit Manager, you’ll be a passionate and determined individual experienced in the field of audit with demonstrable experience.

Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 2+ years in an Audit Management role
  • Proven leadership and client management skills
  • A passion for problem‑solving, team development, and delivering excellence
