Job summary

Cooper Parry in the UK is seeking Audit Trainees to join our offices in Belfast or Dungannon. You’ll gain hands-on audit experience from day one and work toward ACA qualification, joining a fast-growing, supportive team.

We welcome graduates and school leavers, with a pathway that starts in September 2027 and blends study with hands-on client work across a varied client base.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree and at least 3 A Levels (or equivalent) with BBC including a numerical or business-related subject.
  • School Leavers require the same A Level requirements as above.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and documenting client information (invoices, bank statements, payroll reports).
  • Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Attending client year-end stocktakes (weekends/around Christmas).
  • Speaking with client finance teams to understand their systems and processes.
  • Assisting in preparing financial statements using audit software.
  • Working in small teams to carry out financial testing and contribute to audit reports.
  • Meeting deadlines and supporting the team to deliver high-quality work.
