Job summary

Jobtailor in Edinburgh seeks an experienced auditor to take ownership of audit projects from planning to completion. You will act as the primary client contact, supervise junior staff, and manage budgets while ensuring compliance with auditing standards.

Travel to client sites, including the Scottish Borders, may be required. Candidates should hold ICAS/ACA/ACCA and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant - ICAS, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent to handle complex audit assignments.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments at once and meet client deadlines.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Familiarity with risk assessments and effective control measures within the audit process.
• Up-to-date technical knowledge and relevant accounting and auditing standards.
