What do the team do?

The team predominantly undertake audit and other assurance work on behalf of our clients, and are also responsible for accounts preparation and tax computations. We have audit clients across various sectors around the UK, from smaller not-for-profit organizations to entrepreneurial SMEs and large listed groups. What will I be doing?

As an Audit & Assurance Manager, you will have ownership of the following tasks:

• Overseeing your own portfolio of clients, including workforce planning, management of WIP, and billing
• Delegating audit, accounts tasks, and some tax compliance work to team members, reviewing completed files for final review by the RI
• Providing feedback to junior and senior team members on the quality of their work and performance
• Building and developing relationships with existing and new clients
• Undertaking business development activities, such as attending networking and marketing events
• Meeting clients to pitch and tender for new work, and preparing related documents
• Supporting wider team responsibilities, including interviewing and marketing

What experience do I need?

While experience in the following areas is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria below and are eager to develop, we want to hear from you:

• A professional accounting qualification – ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA (minimum)
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio
• People management experience
• Strong time management skills and ability to juggle priorities
• Commercial and client development focus
• Experience with audit software (e.g., Caseware) and Microsoft Office
