The Industry & Services team provides audit services to a range of companies—from FTSE 350 to privately-owned organisations—with turnovers up to £3bn. Our clients span manufacturing, transport, energy and utilities, and services such as media, retail, professional services, and technology. About the role

As a graduate trainee, here is what you can expect during your three-year training contract:

Year 1:

• Master the art of auditing: Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
• Financial statements: Develop a deep understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
• Work side by side with clients: Get exposed to diverse companies and understand their operations, challenges, and circumstances.
• Build relationships: Connect with key stakeholders internally and with clients; gather relevant information and build professional relationships.

Years 2 and 3:

As you progress, you’ll take on increasingly complex audit work (e.g., revenue recognition, valuation, risk assessments). You’ll take ownership of audit engagements and lead their delivery. You will also mentor newer team members. You join us as a permanent employee, and the three years mark the beginning of an exceptional career at Forvis Mazars.
