As a graduate trainee, here is what you will experience during the three-year training contract:

Year 1
  • Master the art of auditing: Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
  • Financial statements: Develop a deep understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
  • Work with clients: Be immersed in the business world by working directly with diverse companies to understand their operations, challenges, and unique circumstances.
  • Build relationships: Connect with key stakeholders within clients, your team, and across service lines; gather relevant information and build strong professional relationships.
Years 2 and 3
  • Progress to increasingly complex audit work (e.g., revenue recognition, valuation, risk assessments) and take ownership of audit engagements with a leading role in delivery.
  • Mentor new and junior team members to help them settle in and flourish.
  • You will join as a permanent employee; the three years mark the beginning of your career at Forvis Mazars.

About the Financial Services Banking Team

Forvis Mazars offers a world-class audit experience with deep knowledge of the banking sector. You will work with a range of clients, including overseas banks and UK challenger banks, across activities such as retail, commercial, private (wealth management), merchant, and investment banking, as well as building societies, leasing, asset-backed lending, payment service providers, and security brokers.
