Audit Executive – Cardiff

Clark Wood, a specialist in Public Practice recruitment, is currently working with a highly reputable regional firm based in Cardiff, Wales.

Our client is seeking to appoint a talented ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Auditor to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have diverse general practice experience, including leading audit assignments, accounts preparation, and tax returns.

This role in Cardiff offers a unique opportunity to engage in stimulating general practice work, dynamic business advisory projects, and comprehensive tax and auditing responsibilities, which will significantly contribute to your professional growth. You will also gain exposure to a diverse client base, including SMEs, OMBs, and potentially international entities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide advisory services to owner-managed businesses on various accounts and business advisory matters.
2. Lead audit assignments, overseeing from planning through to conclusion, including staff supervision and client management.
3. Prepare tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
4. Prepare accounts for companies, groups of companies, partnerships, and LLPs along with associated tax computations.

The Cardiff office is conveniently located and easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Newport, Bridgend, Barry, and Caerphilly.
