Meraki Talent are delighted to be working alongside a leading top 20 accounting firm on the role of Audit Director/Junior Partner. This role will focus on generalist portfolio covering several sectors of white collar and blue-collar business.

The Company
Our client is a well-known firm within the UK Accountancy market and have a proud history and reputation built over the last 90+ years. During this period they have been through several successful mergers & acquisitions and have grown to become a true market leader within the world of Accountancy.

The role
The Audit Director/Junior Partner will see the oversight of the full Audit function including taking the lead on managing a large portfolio of clients from a variety of sectors, overseeing all aspects of client engagement whilst driving revenue growth across existing and new service offerings, maximising cross selling opportunities.

You will lead with a variety of clients across a wide range of sectors, provide advice to both clients and senior management within your team on all matters audit. You will work collaboratively to suggest ideas and concepts for increased firm exposure with both existing & new clients representing the firm through networking and professional engagements and use contacts to upsell services offered by separate departments within the firm.


  • Strategic and monetary responsibility for the management of the audit function
  • Ensuring high-quality provision of audit compliance
  • Management and growth of a portfolio of audit clients
  • Responsible for department and business structure, maximising employee performance and delivery
  • Responsible for the growth of the audit portfolio through existing network and business development

Salary

The firm offer a competitive salary which will be discussed and amended to your level of experience.

Experience

A generalist audit background would be desirable but applications from a particular specialist field are also welcomed.

You will have current RI status or be willing to obtain this as well as a passion for business development and networking.

  • CA - qualified accountant
  • Responsible Individual status highly preferable
  • Excellent working knowledge of UKGAAP – IFRS desirable but not essential
  • Experience of leading the end-to-end audit process
