Job summary

Citi London is seeking an Audit Director – Enterprise Resilience to lead a global resilience assurance program across the enterprise and technology estate. You will direct audits, tests, and regulatory engagements, and shape resilience governance for Citi IA.

You will partner with technology, cyber and risk teams to ensure robust recovery, mapping and incident response, while developing talent and delivering high-quality assurance in a complex, global environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading operational resilience, technology risk, or related assurance programs in a global financial institution or top-tier firm.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end resilience frameworks (mapping, tolerances, testing, metrics).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Proven experience building and developing high-performing global teams.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale audit or assurance portfolios in complex organizations.
• Sound judgment, integrity and objectivity in a highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge of global resilience regulations (UK PRA/FCA, DORA, US guidance, MAS TRM/ORM).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Internal Audit resilience strategy aligned to regulatory expectations and evolving tech landscape.
• Direct end-to-end delivery of the Enterprise Resilience audit portfolio within IA methodology and budgets.
• Serve as a trusted SME on Enterprise Resilience risks and controls across Citi IA.
• Partner with technology, cyber, third-party risk, and business audit teams to scale resilience coverage.
• Evaluate business service mapping, impact tolerances and criticality.
• Assess design and execution of severe-but-plausible scenario testing and test conditions.
• Evaluate disaster recovery architecture, failover testing, and data restoration capabilities.
• Assess resilience of infrastructure, data centres, cloud, network and capacity management.
• Oversee third-party and intragroup dependency management, contracts, and exit planning.
• Lead engagement on resilience-related regulatory examinations and remediation programs.
• Champion horizon scanning for emerging resilience threats and methods.
• Develop and retain talent within the resilience team.
• Support QA processes and improve audit coverage and processes.
• Foster strong relationships with other IA teams and stakeholders.
