Audit Assistant Manager - NFP

Location: Manchester
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

We are seeking a dedicated Audit Assistant Manager to join our team, playing a vital role supporting Not-for-Profit clients within a top 10 firm. This role offers a collaborative, inclusive environment with hybrid working and opportunities for progression.

Your role as an Audit Assistant Manager:
  • Identify risk matters and escalate them appropriately
  • Propose solutions on technical issues and communicate effectively with clients and partners
  • Manage projects and finances rigorously within set timescales and budgets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with NFP clients
  • Support and mentor junior team members and delegate tasks accordingly
What you'll need to succeed:
  • ACA / ACCA qualification or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with Not-for-Profit clients or a desire to work in this sector
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Experience with systems/controls testing and substantive auditing (beneficial)
  • Experience working within a UK accountancy firm
