Location: Audit hub - Southampton

What will you be doing?

  1. Delivering financial statement audits, technology audits, audit-related data, analytics, and tools; providing assurance over other info such as regulatory/ESG/internal controls; learning and development; quality/risk/knowledge management; and/or specialist, technical accounting advice (non-audited entities only).
  2. Supervising junior team members and providing coaching to help them reach their potential.
  3. Conducting planning and execution of audit fieldwork.
  4. Managing stakeholder relationships at audited entities.
  5. Ensuring high-quality delivery of audit engagements.

What will you need to do it?

  • Professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body.
  • Knowledge of International Standards on Auditing.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Experience with proprietary software for managing audit workflow and evidence.
  • Managing small teams, coaching, and mentoring junior staff.

Additional skills we'd love to see

  • Audit experience within a 'Big 4' firm, mid-tier, or public sector.
  • Knowledge of US GAAS / PCOAB standards.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
