Job summary

Puro Associates is assisting a Chester-based client in recruiting an Audit Assistant Manager. You will review audit planning and fieldwork, complete audit files, train staff, raise fee notes, and manage a diverse client portfolio while overseeing department workflow.

The ideal candidate is ACA or ACCA qualified with practice experience, strong communication, and good Excel skills. Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH AP/AA is a plus; full training provided.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with practice experience.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions.
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review audit planning and fieldwork.
• Complete audit files.
• Train and develop staff.
• Raise fee notes.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments such as cash flow forecasts and hands-on audit support.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
