Responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager:

• Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Leading on-site audit teams and supervising junior staff
• Reviewing audit work and providing coaching and technical guidance
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Assisting managers and partners with client service delivery
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client processes
• Supporting the development and training of junior team members
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards

Profile

A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:

• Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Experience in managing audits.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and auditing practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on mentoring and development.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
