Job Opportunity: Audit Assistant Manager

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Job Summary:
  • Review audit planning and fieldwork
  • Complete audit files
  • Train and develop staff
  • Raise fee notes
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments such as cash flow forecasts and assist with audit assignments
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Oversee department workflow
  • Ensure timely compliance with client, Companies House, and HMRC deadlines
  • Review financial statements for charities and SMEs
Desired Skills:
  • Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in client interactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH AP, and CCH AA (training provided, not essential)
  • Attention to detail
