Qualifications

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1 year post-qualification experience preferred.
  • Experience managing junior audit team members and working with complex clients.

Responsibilities

Audit Assistant Manager

Leeds

£45,000 - £50,000 + Discretionary Bonus

We are working with a rapidly growing Top 20 firm based in Leeds who now have an opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager, ideally someone already in an AM level position or a recently qualified individual looking for a supportive and social team to grow in.

Your role as an Audit Assistant Manager:
  • You will lead the audits from planning to completion across a vast range of corporate audit clients from Technology, Natural Resources through to Retail.
  • You will have the opportunity to manage a small portfolio.
  • You will train, mentor and oversee junior members of the team, including delegation of work, oversee work on site and ensure quality is maintained.
  • Ensure work taken place on site is in line with approved plan and budget.
  • Work closely with Managers and Senior members of the team with regards to delays and updates.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • You will be ACA/ACCA qualified - preferably 1 year post qualified but also happy to consider newly qualified individuals looking for a step up.
  • Experience of working with Listed and Complex audit clients.
  • You will have worked to IFRS reporting standards.
  • A good management rapport to mentor the junior audit team.
  • A hunger to progress and drive the business forward.
