The opportunity

As an Assistant Manager at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

1. Own and manage a client portfolio with minimal support from senior staff
2. Support in delivering revenue and profitability targets
3. Develop and inspire our smarter people plan
4. Review accounts and provide advice for more complex clients
5. Provide support to your clients from an accounting perspective
6. Work as part of the management team, including department work planning, appraisals, and guiding junior team members to provide both technical and day-to-day guidance
7. Plan and conduct meetings while managing your audit teams throughout the audit cycle
8. Assist with managing staff resourcing across audits throughout the year and liaise closely with Partners and fellow managers

What are we looking for?

1. Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP
2. Experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries
3. Experience coaching and mentoring junior members
