Make an Impact at RSM UK – External Audit

Our graduate apprenticeship programme offers unique challenges, growth opportunities, and the latest technology to enhance your work. You will start studying towards your AAT qualification immediately, with support every step of the way.

As part of our audit team, you will review clients’ financial records, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy and build stakeholder confidence.

You will:

  • Engage in client work quickly, initially as part of a team, then taking on individual responsibilities.
  • Own tasks to prepare for future supervision roles.
  • Work with diverse clients, including owner-managed businesses, listed groups, charities, and pension schemes.

This role is mainly office-based or at client sites, fostering relationship-building and early-career support.

The skills and experience gained will benefit your current role and lay the foundation for a successful career.

What we are looking for:

We value passion, personality, and originality. To be considered, you should have:

  • Predicted/obtained 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or equivalent, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data methodically.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • An interest in business and commerce, with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and offices.

Note: RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels, or EPQ.
