Location: Glasgow

Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

Duration: 9 months MAT Cover

Puro Associates are supporting one of Scotland’s independent accountancy firms in their search for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their friendly team on maternity cover.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Preparation of accounts, corporation tax computations, management accounts, and VAT returns.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
  • Liaising with clients to build and maintain strong relationships, resolving issues, and handling queries.
  • Working within set budgets and tight deadlines.
  • Monitoring the progression of audit assignments, including budget and timeframes.
  • Producing detailed audit plans and communicating with senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate:
  • ACCA/ACA/AAT qualification or QBE.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Practice.
  • Open to candidates with little/no audit or accounts experience, or those with experience in both.
  • Leadership skills.
