Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 DOE

Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per Week | Swindon

Pertemps Swindon is recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing accountancy firm for a Senior Manager in their Audit & Accounts division. This is a key leadership role with a clear path to employee RI status and Directorship, offering strong exposure to both Charity/Not-for-Profit and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver audit and account assignments for a variety of clients, including charities, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Work with balanced systems, cloud-based platforms, and incomplete records.
  • Prepare draft corporation and business tax computations, with appropriate supporting analysis.
  • Plan and budget audit assignments, using analytical review techniques.
  • Lead audits and oversee all stages of the audit process.
  • Supervise and review junior staff work.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.
  • Support Managers and Partners on ad-hoc project work when required.

The Right Candidate:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a practice environment
  • Experience or strong interest in the Charity and Not-for-Profit sector
  • Confident using bookkeeping and cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
