Job description

An expanding Mid-Tier Firm in Bury St Edmunds is looking for an additional Audit and Accounts Manager to join their busy Corporate Services team, paying a salary of £51,000 - £65,000 depending upon experience. With the opportunity to work both flexibly and on a hybrid basis - this is something this Firm actively encourages and would even consider someone who was onsite or at clients in Bury St Edmunds only 35-40 days per year.

Role Overview

As an Audit and Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing audit, accounts preparation, and tax compliance services for a range of businesses, with approximately a 60% Audit and 40% non-audit split.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an established Audit and Accounts Manager seeking more responsibility and progression, or an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager ready to advance their career.

You will join a close-knit and friendly team with long-standing client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  1. Own and manage a client portfolio with a high level of responsibility
  2. Oversee team portfolios and plan workflow
  3. Prepare statutory financial statements
  4. Support and mentor junior team members
